User-Programmable Supplementals
When Supplemental User-Programmable option is selected from Decode UPC/EAN Supplementals, select User-
Programmable Supplemental 1 to set the 3-digit prefix. Then select the 3 digits using the Keypad Number
Symbols (page 4-72).

Decode UPC/EAN Supplemental Redundancy
Default: 7 Times
With Autodiscriminate UPC/EAN Supplementals selected, this option adjusts the number of times a symbol
without supplementals will be decoded before transmission. The range is from 2 to 20 times. Five or above is
recommended when decoding a mix of UPC/EAN symbols with and without supplementals, and the
autodiscriminate option is selected.
