Call waiting
If you subscribe to call waiting service with your telephone
service provider, you hear a beep if someone calls while you are
on a call.
Press FLASH to put your current call on hold and take the
new call.
Press FLASH at any time to switch back and forth
between calls.
Volume control
Use this feature to set the listening volume to one of six
levels for the handset and speakerphone. While on a call,
press VOL or VOL to adjust the listening volume.
NOTE: Handset and speakerphone volume settings are independent.
Mute
Use this feature during a telephone conversation to silence
the microphone. You can hear the caller, but the caller cannot
hear you.
To mute a call:
Press MUTE/DELETE. When mute is on, the
screen displays MUTE.
To take a call off mute:
Press MUTE/DELETE again and
resume speaking.
