Accessing the Product
Microphone on and Microphone off. Click to mute or unmute the microphone. In Simplex — speaker only mode,
the Microphone on and Talk buttons must both be active to send audio to the Axis product. Click either button to
stop audio transmission.
Use the slider to control the volume of the microphone.
Speaker on and Speaker off. Click to turn the speakers on and off.
Use the slider to control the volume of the speakers.
Half-duplex mode
The Talk/Listen buttonisusedtoswitchbetweensendingandreceivingaudio.Thebuttoncanbecongured from
the Audio tab in the AMC Control panel:
Push-To-Talk mode: C lick and hold the button to talk (send audio). Release the button to listen.
Toggle mode: Click once to switch between talking and listening .
Simplex – speaker only mode
To send audio, the Microphone on and Talk buttons must both be active. Click either button to stop audio
transmission.
To open the AMC Control Panel, right-click in the image and select Settings.
To enable audio, go to Setup > Video & Audio > Video Stream.OntheAudio tab, select Enable audio.
To change the audio mode and to control the speakers and microphone connected to the Axis product, go to Setup > Video
& Audio > Audio Settings.
Manual Trigger
The Manual Trigger is used to trigger an action rule from the Live View page. The manual trigger can for example be used to
validate actions during product installation and conguration.
In the Live View page, the manual trigger buttons are a vailable from the Actions tab. Click Trigger on to start the action. Click
Trigger off to stop the action.
To congure the manual trigger:
1. Go to Setup > Events.
2. C lick Add to add a new action rule.
3. From the Trigger drop-down list, select Input Signal.
4. From the second drop-down list, select Manual Trigger.
5. Se lect the desired actio n and congure the other settings as required.

To show the manual trigger buttons in the Live View page:
1. Go to Setup > Live View Layout.
2. Under Action Buttons,selectShow manual trigger button.
