OPERATING YOUR WINE CHILLER
Temperature Control and Light Switch
Setting the Temperature Control
Your Wine Chiller has only one control for regulating the temperature. The temperature control is
located on the upper right hand corner of the compartment.
To control the internal temperature, adjust the control knob according to the ambient temperature
or purpose of use.
The first time you turn the unit on, set the temperature control to “HI” position.
After 2 hours, adjust the control setting to the appropriate position depending on the selection of
wine bottles placed in the wine chiller.
NOTE:
The range between “HI” and “LO” is from 51 F to 62 F, which is ideal for the storage of most
wines. The medium (MED) position on this unit is set at 55ºF.
Turning the temperature control to "OFF" position stops the cooling cycle but does not shut
off the power to the appliance.
You must install your electronic Wine Chiller in a place where the ambient temperature is between 72-
78 degrees Fahrenheit. If the ambient temperature is above or below recommended temperatures,
the performance of the unit may be affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme cold or hot
conditions may cause interior temperatures to fluctuate. The range of 51-62 degrees Fahrenheit may
not be reached.
You can place four bottles (STANDARD 750 ML BOTTLES) on each shelf (total 16).
Recommended temperatures for chilling wine:
Degrees
Control Position
Red Wines: 57-62 F (14-17ºC) LO
Dry/White Wines 54-57 F (12-14ºC) MED
Rose Wines 51-53 F (11-12ºC) HI
Interior Light
The light switch is located on the upper right hand corner of the compartment. The LED interior light is
located on the top of the compartment. You can turn the interior light ON or OFF by pressing the light
switch.
