1. Connect the Total Access 6XX unit to your VT100 system (details found in DLP-1, Connecting a
VT100 Terminal or PC to the CRAFT Port).
2. Log in to the system.

option and press <Enter>.

for the ETH interface, then P

5. Highlight the IP A
DDRESS
field and press <Enter>. Enter the appropriate IP address (as given by your
system administrator).
6. Highlight the S

field and press <Enter>. Enter the appropriate subnet mask (as given by
your system administrator).
7. Use the left arrow key to back out to the R
OUTER
/C
ONFIG
menu. Select R
OUTES
and press <Enter>.
Use the arrow key to highlight the D
EFAULT

ATEWAY
field and press <Enter>. Enter the appropriate
default gateway (as given by your system administrator).
8. Press the left arrow key to back out to the main R
OUTER
menu. This action saves your changes and
requires confirmation.
9. Log off the system by pressing <CTRL+L>.
Perform the steps below in the order listed.
The presence of an asterisk in the lower right corner of the menu window indicates that
changes have NOT been saved to flash memory. Changes are automatically saved to flash
as the user backs out of the menu system or after a manual save (by pressing
<CTRL+W>
.
Always ensure that the asterisk is not present before logging off the system. Failure to save
changes could result in a configuration loss if a power failure occurs. (For more details on
the asterisk indicator, refer to Config Status on page 45.
